Jade Thirwall Joins Stonewall To March In Manchester Pride
Jade Thirwall hit the streets of Manchester yesterday, August 25, for the Manchester Pride march. Jade was joined by people from the Stonewall charity for the amazing event after chatting with the youths in the organization earlier in the day.
Jade spoke about her experience at the march stating, “I was really excited to be part of today and to spend time talking with young people about what it means to be an ally. It was really emotional actually. I feel like as someone in the public eye and as an artist it’s our duty to raise awareness.”
She goes on to say, “It’s my first ever Pride and it’s been one of the best experiences of my life seeing how much it means to some of the young people, who might have struggled coming out. Seeing them here today being proud of who they are is amazing.”
