Sarah Hyland shared her own story of sexual assault earlier today, September 27. The young actress took to Instagram to share her experience, which occurred a few years ago when she was a teenager.

Sarah shared her truth as many women across the world have also begun to speak out about their own experiences with sexual assault. Earlier today, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Ford alleges Kavanaugh assaulted her in high school.
