Melissa Benoist Takes Part in Reading of Terms of Endearment

We laughed, we cried, we raised money to help @su2c … I’d say it was a great evening at the @geffenplayhouse reading one of James Brooks incredible screenplays.

Melissa Benoist took part in a reading of James L. Brooks’ screenplay for Terms of Endearment last night, October 1 in Los Angeles. Held at the Geffen Playhouse, Melissa was joined at the reading by Chris Wood, Calista Flockhart, Constance Wu and Italia Ricci.

The reading was held to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer as well as the Geffen Playehouse’s New Play Development Program. Melissa will now head back to Vancouver to continue work on the new season of Supergirl.

I wish they had taped the reading. I would love to see it.
