Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Donate To The Malibu Fire Relief Efforts

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have donated up to $500,000 to Malibu Fire Relief Efforts. The young couple, who lost their home to the devastating fires, made the donation earlier this week after Liam was able to survey the damages done to the Malibu area.

A rep of the couple’s spoke with E! about the donation. They stated, “Their community and state are very special to them and they want to give back to the place that has created so many beautiful memories for themselves and others. They are donating $500,000 dollars to The Malibu Foundation through Miley’s charity, Happy Hippie in hopes to restore Malibu’s magic.”

The site goes on to say that their donation will be “used for those in financial need, emergency relief assistance, community rebuilding, wildfire prevention and climate change resilience.”
