The CW Gives Pilot Order for Riverdale Spin-Off, Katy Keene

The CW has given a pilot order for a new Riverdale spin-off series. The series will be called, Katy Keene and it will focus on four iconic Archie Comics characters, including the fashionista.

The musical dramedy will take place in New York City and it will focus on the characters trying “to make it on Broadway, on the runway and in the recording studio.” No word on if any of these characters will first be introduced on Riverdale, but we do know that Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will write the pilot.
