That’s a wrap on Star Wars episode 9 and the end to a chapter of my life that I couldn’t be more thankful for. What a process! The cast of Star Wars: Episode IX wrapped filming today, February 15. John Boyega and director, J.J. Abrams, posted the emotional news, along with this great photo, to their social medias to commemorate the occasion.

Episode IX will mark the final film in the update trilogy that follows Rey, Poe, and Finn as they take on the First Order. No other details about the upcoming film have been released, but some are reporting that it will take place a year after the events in The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: Episode IX will open in theaters on December 20.
