Freddie Prinze Jr. Joins Nancy Drew Pilot

Freddie Prinze Jr. is joining the CW’s new, Nancy Drew series. Freddie will join Kennedy McMann in the new untitled pilot.

Freddie is set to play Nancy’s estranged dad, Carson Drew. The two became estranged after the passing of his wife and Nancy’s mom. The two attempt to reconnect when we meet them in the new series,but when Nancy’s murder investigation begins to reveal unsettling secrets from Carson’s past things get sticky for the pair.

Nancy Drew (McMann) and is set in the summer after her high school graduation. She thought she’d be leaving her hometown for college, but when a family tragedy holds her back another year, she finds herself embroiled in a ghostly murder investigation — and along the way, uncovers secrets that run deeper than she ever imagined.
