Elle Fanning received quite the honor today, March 17 in San Jose, CA. The star was honored with the Maverick Award at the Cinequest Film and Creativity Festival.

Elle is the youngest person to ever receive the annual award. Before the award presentation, Elle screened her new film, Teen Spirit for the crowd. The film is set to be released to theaters on April 5.

Congrats to Elle on her award!
