Miley Cyrus Pays Tribute to Janice Freeman

Miley Cyrus paid tribute to Janice Freeman today, March 18 as she spoke at a memorial service for the singer. Miley was Janice’s coach on Season 13 of NBC’s The Voice.

During the memorial, Miley was set to sing “Amazing Grace” with her father, Billy Ray, but instead let her father sing a majority of it due to the emotions she felt losing Janice. However, Miley did speak a little about her time with Janice before the performance stating, “I’ve learned more from her than anyone that I’ve ever gotten the honor to be in the room with, not just vocally, I should’ve gotten more lessons than I did, but she taught me everything that I know about love.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with Janice’s family and friends during this time. She was such a joy to watch perform on The Voice and she touched so many people.
