Brie Larson chatted with Who What Wear while out promoting her directorial debut, Unicorn Store, and her new film, Captain Marvel. Highlights from her issue can be found below.

On the most rewarding part of playing Captain Marvel: “Seeing and hearing the impact it has made on women around the world. You always hope your work makes an impact on some level, but in a business where things fall short of expectation more often than not, this has been a mind-blowing journey. I truly cannot believe it. It’s brought me to tears on many occasions.”

On finding rising photographers for the press tour: “This shoot was part of a larger initiative for the Captain Marvel press tour. Through Instagram, I’ve been able to find and shoot with incredible local female photographers in each city I visited. The goal is to help to build these women’s professional portfolios by aligning with publications—like Who What Wear—that publish these shoots. It’s been a fun and rewarding journey, meeting and experiencing the talent of these rising stars.”
