Andrew Garfield Lands New Role

Andrew Garfiled has landed a new role. The actor has joined Jessica Chastain in the new drama, The Eyes of Tammy Faye.

Collider is reporting, “Garfield and Chastain will play Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, who were televangelists who in the 1970s and ’80s rose from humble beginnings to create the world’s largest religious broadcasting network and a theme park. The duo were revered for their message of love, acceptance and prosperity, but it wasn’t long before financial improprieties, scheming rivals, and a sex scandal tore their marriage apart and toppled their carefully constructed empire.”
