The Cast of grown-ish Take Part in Live Read at Essence Festival

The cast of grown-ish attended the 25th Annual Essence Festival this past weekend in New Orleans, LA. The cast was at the event to take part in a live table read of episode 2016, “Self Care.”

Joined by Yara Shahidi’s black-ish costar, Marcus Scribner, Yara, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Jordan Buhat, Diggy Simmons, and Deon Cole were all on hand for the reading.

I love that this cast got to do a live read at the festival! I hope they had fun.
