Auli’i Cravalho to Star in New Netflix Movie
Auli’i Cravalho has landed a new role! The young actress Netflix’s new movie, Sorta Like A Rock Star. Directed by Brett Haley, principal photography will begin this coming October.
The movie is about a teenage girl who, despite difficult circumstances, is preternaturally optimistic about the world and her place in it. She often helps those around her, resulting in powerful bonds with a disparate group of outsiders in her community, until she faces a devastating loss and can no longer ignore the challenges in her own life.
This is so exciting! I can’t wait to see who else will star in the movie with her.
