Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Separate

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have sepatared. A rep for Miley confirmed the news to PEOPLE earlier today, August 10.

According to the rep, “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”

Miley and Liam wed a little less than a year ago, but have not been seen with one another in the past month. Liam has been spending his time with family in Australia while Miley has jetted off to Italy to enjoy some rest and relaxation with friends.
