Emily VanCamp and Wyatt Russell Join Disney+’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier

The big news kept on coming today, August 23 at the Disney+ presentation at the D23 Expo. This time, the news was about the streaming service’s new show, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan surprised the crowd during the presentation, however they were not the only surprise. Emily VanCamp also came on stage, where it was announced that she would be reprising her role as Sharon Carter in the series.

The crowd was then introduced to Wyatt Russell who will play John Walker—a character from the comics coming to the screen for the first time. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will follow Falcon and the Winter Soldier as they team up after Avengers: Endgame.

The show will launch on Disney+ in 2020.
