Hayley Atwell to Voice Peggy Carter in Marvel’s What If…?

Hayley Atwell isn’t done playing Peggy Carter just yet. The actress made a surprise appearance at the D23 Expo today, August 23 to announce that she will be voicing the character in Disney+’s new animated series, What If…?.

The show “focuses on different heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and imagines what would happen if the events in the films worked out differently.” Rumor has it, some of our other favorite characters from the MCU, like Captain America, may make an appearance in the series.

The show will premiere on the streaming service in 2021. I am so happy that they are bringing Peggy back. I can’t wait to see what they do with her character in the new series.
