Shailene Woodley Discusses Her Experience On The Greenpeace Ship The Esperanza With TIME

Shailene Woodley wrote an editorial piece for Time magazine from her time spent on the Greenpeace ship The Esperanza. The young actress joined the independently funded environmental NGO this past summer and spoke about visiting the Sargasso Sea and exploring the ecosystems.

Shailene also attended an Advocates event in New York City earlier today, September 5, to chat about her experience with Refinery. During her chat, Shailene discussed the importance of saving the world’s oceans and what people can do to help it.
