BB Exclusive: Black Lightning’s Nafessa Williams Talks Anissa’s Season 3 Journey

Last night, November 11, things got lit on the new episode of Black Lightning. To celebrate the episode, we got the chance to talk to Nafessa Williams about the show’s explosive new season. Nafessa has been playing the role of Anissa Pierce for the past three seasons and, unlike the past 2 seasons where she rocked the Thunder costume, this season she has been rocking the Blackbird costume.

During our chat with the actress, Nafessa talked what it has been like playing this character, what’s to come for “ThunderGrace”, the difference between playing Blackbird and Thunder, whether or not we would see Thunder again, her relationship with China McClain and so much more.
