Scooter Braun Issues Statement To Taylor Swift
Scooter Braun has released a statement on his Instagram today, November 22, in regards to the recent events involving Taylor Swift. The young singer took to her own social media earlier in the month to state that Braun and Big Machine Records had blocked her from performing her old catalog at the upcoming American Music Awards.
Taylor had asked her fans to reach out to Braun and his team to express their dislike over the decision, but it would seem that some have taken further than they should have. In his statement, Braun asked that Taylor meet with him to discuss the issues at hand, in regards to her masters, after he and his family received numerous death threats. He goes on to say that he would never want her or any artist to feel like they couldn’t perform their music and that it is time to put aside differences and resolve this issue.
Taylor has yet to respond to the statement, but we will keep you updated as we learn more.
