Emma Watson Announces LWBookFairies Activity By Hiding Little Women Books Across London

I'm excited to reveal a global effort with @bookfairiesworldwide to hide 2,000 copies of Little Women! #LWBookFairies starts today and features over a hundred different editions of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel to celebrate the release of #LittleWomenMovie, every one of which has a special note from me inside. 38 countries are involved in the campaign, and it’s going to be the largest book fairy event ever – follow the hashtag to see where they are being hidden over the next few days! Emma Watson hit the streets of London today, December 15, to hide copies of Louisa May Alcott’s novel, Little Women. The young actress took to her social media to reveal the new initiative from The Book Fairies, which coincides with the release of the upcoming film adaptation.

Throughout her journey, Emma visited legendary female landmarks across the city to hide copies of the novel, which also include a personal note from Emma. 38 countries across the globe will be participating in the iniative as well over the next few days, so be sure to be following the hashtag, #ibelieveinbookfairies, to see if any will appear in your city.

Little Women opens in theaters on December 25.
