Emilia Clarke to Make West End Debut in The Seagull
Emilia Clarke is heading to the West End! The star is set to star in Anya Reiss’ adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull.
Set to premiere at the Playhouse Theatre in London, “On a summer’s evening, at a makeshift theater by a lake, a young writer’s new work is performed. In the wake of its spectacular failure, its audience – all connected by love – confront their own regret, grief, mortality, pettiness, and loneliness.”
Emilia is set to play Nina in the play, which will begin previews on March 11. Opening night is set for March 19 and it will run through May 30.
