The Proud Family Returns To Disney+ In New Series, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder
The Proud Family will be returning to Disney! Disney+ announced this morning, February 27, that our family cartoon family would be joining the streaming site later this year under a new name, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, and that production is already underway over at Disney Television Animation.
In a statement released by the mouse house, “…Academy Award-winning creator/executive producer Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farquhar, who led the original series, at the helm, reuniting them with Calvin Brown, Jr. who is co-executive producer and story editor.” The statement goes on to say that the following talent will be repsrising their voice roles from the original series, “Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud, Jo Marie Payton as Suga Mama, Karen Malina White as Dijonay Jones, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey Howzer and Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Boulevardez. Cedric the Entertainer will also return as Uncle Bobby Proud.”
The previous seasons of the hit show are currently streaming on Disney+.
