Dylan Sprouse Teams with Heavy Metal on New Comic Series

5 long years of writing this project are finally coming to fruition. I’ve been working on this deeply personal narrative for quite some time and wouldn’t relent until I found the perfect team to work with. I truly believe that with @heavymetal and @digastudios we have found the exact team needed to bring this complicated and twisted story to comic pages. Thank you to the many people who have supported/read/edited/influenced me over the years and I hope you read it when it’s released. I’ll be posting more info and art over the coming months as well as details about what this whole grim dark story is about. Link in profile. Another round of mead for the whole hall. ⚔️🐺

Dylan Sprouse can now add comic writer to his resume. The actor has teamed with Heavy Metal on the new Norse mythology comic series.

Sprouse revealed to SYFY Wire, “[The comic] largely takes inspiration from the sagas that my own Scandinavian-American grandparents were reading both my brother and I while we were younger,”. He does on to say that the series, “will primarily focus on a mortal protagonist and antagonist rather than the god”.
