BB Exclusive: Baker Catherine Foley Talks Competing on Food Network’s “Bakeaway Camp with Martha Stewart”

Tonight, May 11, Food Network will premiere its new baking competition show, Bakeaway Camp with Martha Stewart. In the four one-hour episodes, six campers must brave the outdoor elements for a once in a lifetime opportunity to perfect their baking skills under the watchful eye of Camp Director Martha Stewart, along with camp counselors and baking experts Carla Hall and Dan Langan.

Before the premiere tonight, we got the chance to sit down with one of the competitors, Catherine Foley. From Washington, D.C., Catherine has been baking her entire life and is now ready to be crowned the Bakeaway Camp winner.

During our chat with Foley, we talked where her love of baking started, how she went from working for the FBI to wanting her own baking show, appearing on the competition, her baking inspirations, traveling, and so much more.
