More Details Surrounding Ruby Rose’s Batwoman Departure Surface

More details regarding Ruby Rose’s departure from Batwoman have been released. TVLine is reporting that it might not have been Rose’s sole decision to leave the show.

A source has revealed to the site, “It wasn’t 100-percent her decision. It was a breakup. She wasn’t happy working on the show, and did that make her fun to work with? No. So everyone decided it would be in the best interests of the show, and for all concerned, if they parted ways. It just wasn’t a good fit.”

The site goes on to say, Rose “was distressed by the long hours demanded of a lead TV role and did not acclimate well to life in Vancouver (where the show shoots).”

The creative team is currently in the midst of recasting the role as production on the show’s second season is slated to begin later this year.
