David F. Sandberg Updates Superman Mid-Credit Scene in Shazam!
I know a lot of you asked for this but I’m not so sure this is an improvement. But hey, at least you can stop messaging me about it now. pic.twitter.com/Y4BdiJ2MjE

Shazam! director, David F. Sandberg has released an updated version to the film’s mid-credits scene. The scene originally featured Shazam bringing Superman to lunch at school with him, but Sandberg framed the shot so Superman’s face was out of the picture.
The updated version now features another shot added to the mix and that shot is of Henry Cavill’s face on a super long neck attached to Superman’s body. The shot was added to celebrate the release of HBOMax, which is where you can stream Shazam! whenever you want.
I would like to think Sandberg also did it because it was recently announced that Cavill will apparently be returning to play the red caped hero, but that is just my opinion.
