Selena Gomez Produced “The Broken Hearts Gallery” to Be Among the First Films Released to Theaters

Dacre Montgomery and Molly Gordon’s The Broken Hearst Gallery will be heading to theaters! Executive produced by Selena Gomez, the movie is slated to be one of the first movie’s released back into theaters on July 10.

In the movie, “What if you saved a souvenir from every relationship you’ve ever been in? THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY follows the always unique Lucy (Geraldine Viswanathan), a 20-something art gallery assistant living in New York City, who also happens to be an emotional hoarder. After she gets dumped by her latest boyfriend, Lucy is inspired to create The Broken Heart Gallery, a pop-up space for the items love has left behind. Word of the gallery spreads, encouraging a movement and a fresh start for all the romantics out there, including Lucy herself.”

Montgomery is joined in the movie by Geraldine Viswanathan, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Molly Gordon, Phillipa Soo, Suki Waterhouse, Arturo Castro, Ego Nwodim, Taylor Hill, and Bernadette Peters.

Unlike other film’s that have moved their release dates or taken their films straight to VOD, Gomez and the team behind The Broken Heart Gallery are sticking with their release date. Theaters are beginning to open all over the country, so hopefully enough theaters will be open at this point that movie goers can return to the theaters. While also practicing the proper health guidelines.
