Rupert Grint Releases Statement In Response To JK Rowling’s Anti-Trans Tweets

Rupert Grint has released a statement in response to Harry Potter author, JK Rowling’s anti-trans tweets. The young actor follows in the steps of his fellow Wizarding World alum, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Eddie Redmayne, who all released statements earlier this week.

In his statement to The Times, he states, “I firmly stand with the trans community and echo the sentiments expressed by many of my peers. Trans women are women. Trans men are men. We should all be entitled to live with love and without judgment.”
