Zendaya Releases First Look At Her Quarantine Filmed Flick, Malcolm & Marie
Zendaya has landed a new role, produced it, and has already completed filming on it! The young actress has joined John David Washington for the new film, Malcolm & Marie, which was directed by Zendaya’s Euphoria creator, Sam Levinson.
The filming for the film, “…took place between June 17-July 2 at the Caterpillar House, an environmentally conscious glass architectural marvel in Carmel, CA – all compliant with WGA, DGA and SAG-AFTRA approvals and COVID-19 safety protocols.”
Details on the film have yet to be released as of yet, but according to Deadline, “…the movie has some echoes of Netflix’s Marriage Story, while resonating a number of social themes that the world is experiencing right now.” No other details, including a release date, have yet to be announced, but we will update once we know more.
