Riverdale Begins Pre-Production on Season 5
We are one step closer to getting new Riverdale content! Showrunner, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa announced today, August 17, that pre-production on the show’s fifth season had finally begun.
Production on the show came to halt this past March due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. The cast and crew have been home waiting news on when they can return to Vancouver to resume filming.
We are hearing that filming could begin as early as September, but nothing has been confirmed yet. We do know that actors and actresses from other shows have begun making their way to Vancouver for their mandatory 14 day quarantine, so we will have to see if any of the Riverdale stars begin making their way.
