Finn Wolfhard Joins The Cast Of Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio
Finn Wolfhard has joined the cast of Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio. The young star will be joined by an A-list cast, including Cate Blanchett, Ewan McGregor, and Tilda Swinton, for this new animated Neflix project.
According to Deadline, “the feature follows the extraordinary journey of a wooden boy magically brought to life by a father’s wish. Set during the rise of fascism in Mussolini’s Italy, del Toro’s Pinocchio is a story of love and disobedience as Pinocchio struggles to live up to his father’s expectations.”
Production is currently underway on the new project with a 2021 scheduled release.
