Lili Reinhart is on the cover of the September issue of Nylon magazine. Lili is on the cover to promote her new film, Chemical Hearts, and book, Swimming Lessons. Highlights can be found below.
On possibly being an empath: “I’ve always known I’m intuitive. She also told me that I could be clairvoyant and telepathic, if I worked on my skills. It was very validating in making me feel like, ‘Oh, shit! I really do have a power to connect with peoples’ energies.'”
On buying her own home: “All of the core four of us bought houses this year. All of us. Cami [Mendes] just bought a house in Silver Lake. Cole [Sprouse] just bought a house in the Hills. KJ [Apa] bought a house in the hills earlier this year. We made it! It’s like, ‘Thank you, Riverdale.'”
On writing her own poetry book, Swimming Lessons: “I still don’t even consider myself a poet. I really don’t. People are sure to tell me on Twitter that I’m not. I don’t even think of it as really poems — more as, ‘Here are my pretty thoughts. Here are my thoughts worded in a beautiful way. I write in a lofty, longing, romantic way because I’m a huge romantic.”
