Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich have called it quits. The young couple became engaged a little over two months ago after meeting back in March.
According to a source for PEOPLE, “It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers,” says the source. “They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together.”
The news comes only days after Demi came to his defense after fans tracked down old messages from Ehrich that spoke about his love of fellow celebrities, such as Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Ariana Grande. Th singer stated that the fans were in the wrong in a caption she uploaded to her social media.
