Marsai Martin Working On New Unscripted TV Series Focused On Trailblazing Black Women
Marsai Martin is shopping a new unscripted TV series. The young actress and producer is currently working with her production company Genius Entertainment on bringing the series, Baddies, to buyers.
The project, tentatively titled Baddies, is currently being shopped to buyers — with Martin’s Genius Entertainment banner developing and producing. “Black women have always contributed to American culture,” said Martin. “They’ve just never gotten the recognition. This show is a fun way of letting people know how dope we are.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Baddies will be the first series from the young producer…” and will focus on trailblazing Black women.
