Zac Efron Lands New Role In Thriller, Gold
Zac Efron has landed a new role. The young actor is set to star in the upcoming thriller from Anthony Hayes and Polly Smyth, titled Gold.
In this new film, “two strangers stumble across the biggest gold nugget ever found while traveling through the desert. They formulate a plan to protect and excavate their bounty, but that means one man will have to stay while the other leaves to go get the necessary equipment. Efron will play the man who stays behind and must endure harsh desert elements, ravenous wild dogs and mysterious intruders, all while battling the sinking suspicion that he has been left to die out there alone.”
Production on the film will begin later this month in Australia, which is perfect for Zac. He has taken up residence in the county ever since the pandemic began earlier this year.
