AppleTV+ and PBS Team Up to Air Peanuts Holiday Specials

AppleTV+ has teamed up with PBS to offer free broadcasts of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Fans will be able to enjoy the specials on either AppleTV+ or on PBS.

“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will start streaming on Apple TV+ on November 18, and the special will be available for free from November 25 through November 27. “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” will begin streaming on December 4. The holiday special will be available to enjoy for free from December 11 through December 13. “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will air on PBS and PBS KIDS on November 22, 2020 at 7:30 pm local time/6:30 pm CT and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will air on PBS and PBS KIDS on December 13, 2020 at 7:30 pm local time/6:30 pm CT.

It was announced in October that AppleTV+ has bought up the rights to all animated Peanuts specials, so fans hoping to see “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” during the Halloween season had to have an AppleTV+ subscription to check it out. Thankfully, this will allow those who enjoy watching the specials during the Halloween season to check them out without having a subscription!
