AppleTV+ Gives Straight to Series Order to “Surface” starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw

AppleTV+ has given a straight to series order to Veronica West’s psychological thriller Surface, produced by Apple Studios and Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine. Beauty and the Beast star, Gugu Mbatha-Raw is set to play the lead in the new series.

Details on the series are scarce, but we do know that Mbatha-Raw will serve as co-executive producer on it. Production on the series will begin in 2021.
