Hailee Steinfeld Confirms Kate Bishop Role In Hawkeye Series With Cryptic Instagram Post
Hailee Steinfeld shared a post on her Instagram earlier today, December 1, that has Marvel fans talking. The young actress has been rumored to be taking on the role of Kate Bishop in the upcoming Hawkeye series for Disney+ for the past few months, but nothing has been confirmed.
In her post, Hailee uploaded a photo of a woman with the words Sagittarius on it, which she captioned, “see u in ✨11✨ days, 24. 🏹”. For most, this post is just a countdown to her upcoming 24th birthday, but for Marvel fans this is a confirmation of her role in the new series.
Marvel fans believe it is confirmation because of the bow and arrow emoji and the fact that the woman in the photo is wearing quite a bit of purple, which is Bishop’s signature color. The confirmation gained even more traction when the Hawkeye directors, Bert and Bertie, commented on the photo with three purple hearts.
With production already underway on the new Disney+ series and Jeremy Renner hard at work to prepare for his reprisal at Clint Barton, expect some news soon.
