The trailer for Simon Stone’s new film, The Dig has been released. The film stars Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, Lily James, Johnny Flynn, Ben Chaplin, Ken Stott, Archie Barnes, and Monica Dolan.

In the film, “As WWII looms, a wealthy widow hires an amateur archaeologist to excavate the burial mounds on her estate. When they make a historic discovery, the echoes of Britain’s past resonate in the face of its uncertain future‎.”

You can see new photos and key art from the film in the gallery below. The Dig will be released in select theaters on January 15, 2021 and on Netflix on January 29, 2021.
