Demi Lovato Promotes Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil at TCA Event

Demi Lovato attended a TCA event for her new documentary, Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil yesterday, February 17. Done virtually, Lovato was joined by the docuseries Director, Michael D. Ratner for the press event.

During the event, she divulged more details on the ramifications that came from her overdose saying, “I don’t drive a car, because I have blind spots in my vision. And I also for a long time had a really hard time reading. It was a big deal when I was able to read out of a book, which was like two months later because my vision was so blurry.”

Premiering March 23 on YouTube, Demi Lovato holds nothing back in this powerful four part documentary series exploring every aspect that led to her nearly fatal overdose in 2018, and her awakenings in the aftermath. Director Michael D. Ratner is granted unprecedented access to the superstar’s personal and musical journey during the most trying time of her life as she unearths her prior traumas and discovers the importance of her physical, emotional, and mental health. Far deeper than an inside look beyond the celebrity surface, this is an intimate portrait of addiction, and the process of healing and empowerment.

The series will make its world premiere at the SXSW festival next month.
