Dove Cameron Joins The Cast Of The CW’s Powerpuff Girls
Dove Cameron has landed a new role. The young actress is set to star in The CW’s pilot for Powerpuff Girls. Based on the beloved Cartoon Network cartoon, Dove will be joined by Chloe Bennet and Yana Perrault as our favorite crime fighting sisters.
According to Variety, “the new series sees the pint-sized superheroes as disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?” Dove will be taking on the role of Bubbles in the new series while Bennet will play Blossom and Perrault will play Buttercup.
