Cat Grant to Appear in the Final Season of Supergirl, But There’s a Catch

Cat Grant is headed back to Supergirl, just not in the way we would have expected. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Eliza Helm has been cast as a young Cat Grant and will appear in a number of flashback episodes this season.

The characters will appear in back-to-back episodes “Prom Night” (Episode 5) and “Prom Again!” (Episode 6). Those episodes will find Cat , or CJ Grant as she was known in her younger days, ” “Eager to step out of Lois Lane’s shadow and out from under her boss, Perry White’s thumb, Cat chases a story to Kara’s hometown of Midvale. This lead won’t go as planned, but it will put her on the trajectory toward the Media Powerhouse we know and love as Cat Grant.”

Still hoping Calista Flockhart comes back in the final episode!!
