ADVANCE PREVIEW: Manifest’s Season 3 Premiere Will Remind Fans Why They Love This Show
Manifest fans are in for a treat with tonight’s (April 1) Season 3 premiere, and this is no April Fool’s Joke. The episode opens with Ben (Josh Dallas) in Cuba tracking down a lead while Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) and Zeke (Matt Long) are enjoying their much needed honeymoon. However, when a calling brings Ben, Michaela, and Cal (Jack Messina) a vision of a mysterious woman, there lives are once again brought back together to unravel this mystery.
The Season 3 premiere has everything fans will need to prepare themselves for the new season. As with previous season premieres, “Tailfin”, does a nice job setting up the storylines and building the foundations for each of our main characters, which will help fans navigate their journeys throughout the season. The premiere also does a wonderful job of introducing new characters, and shedding some new light on the show’s overall storyline, which for those who do not remember, what really happened on that dreaded flight. As with all good premieres, it will also raise a lot of questions with fans regarding a number of things, including how the newly introduced characters will impact our current characters this season.
Dallas and Roxburgh take center stage in the premiere while many our other favorites take a backseat. Though, don’t be disappointed by this news. Everyone is in the premiere, but its Dallas and Roxburgh’s storylines that really get the ball rolling on what’s to come this season. There is still a lot to come this season, including what happened to Parveen Kaur’s Saanvi Bahl, especially after the events in Season 2.
Whether or not this will be the show’s last season, is still up in the air; much like it has been for the last two seasons. However, this writing team continues to impress viewers with it’s ability to find ways to draw viewers back in each season. Honestly, I had my doubts last season, but the premiere diminished any doubts that were lingering. This episode was a captivating premiere with an ending that will leave viewers contemplating what will happen in next week’s episode.
