EXCLUSIVE: Peter Hermann Talks the Final Season of Younger

The final season of Younger premiered yesterday, April 15 on Paramount+ and we got the chance to chat with Peter Hermann about the final season.

During the chat, Hermann talked what fans can expect from the final season, his character, Charles, working with Sutton Foster, and so much more. Check out our chat below.

What can fans expect to see from the final season of Younger?
“I think that fans can expect to see the same complication and friendship and beauty and, wit and intrigue and infuriating couplings that they have come to enjoy for the past six seasons. It will feel rewarding and beautiful and will satisfy everything that you’ve wanted to, and we’ll give all of the beautiful answers that you’ve been yearning for for so long, and that we’ve been waiting for too.”

What will you miss most about playing Charles?
“The chance to work with the incomparable and impossibly talented Sutton Foster. And, I think that all of us will say the same thing, that we got to work with her and to not only watch her work, but to tell this story with her was just so deeply, deeply fortunate. I can’t imagine anybody else playing the role.”

What will you miss most about the show?
“The people. We got to spend seven years with an extraordinary group of people, cast and crew. We all get together and we make this thing that we then share, we’re so proud of it. And, we feel so strongly about it. Aside from that, there’s so much beautiful friendship and I will just miss those people.

Why do you think Younger was such a beloved show:
“I think it’s optimistic. I think it’s a hopeful show. I think it’s hopeful about relationships. I think it’s hopeful about love. I think it’s hopeful about trying to live authentically.”
