EXCLUSIVE: Lauren London Talks Pam & her New Movie, Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse

In Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, Lauren London’s Pam is the catalyst that sets everything in motion for Michael B. Jordan’s John Kelly. To celebrate the movie’s upcoming release, London opened up about her character, and something other things, and how she brought this character to life.

On movies skipping theaters and going straight to platforms like Amazon Prime Video:
I think it’s important that we as artists are always in the flow of how times change, and that we must be like water and flow with it. But, I also think it gives everyone an opportunity to watch the movie multiple times as many times as you want with just the click of your thumb. I know I had that experience with my kids when a movie came out recently and my kids wanted to watch it at least three times a day. It just gives you an opportunity to be aligned with the time and be able to have it right there on demand.”

On her character, Pam and how her relationship with Michael B. Jordan helped with her character:
“I think that you bring your life experiences to your art. And I always love artists that work like that. And so, I try my best to be honest in that way. And I think just being a mother and a partner and experiencing love to the degree that I was able to experience it, I brought that tenderness and vulnerability to character. And Michael [B. Jordan] being a really good friend of mine before we ever worked together made it really comfortable and respectful. He held a space for me to be able to be so vulnerable in this character. And, we did have very open conversations about grief and just what it feels like to lose someone so tragically and so soon. So we had, I think those conversations really helped the movement of our characters and their relationship.

Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse will be released to Amazon Prime Video tomorrow, April 30.
