Tom Welling Teases Work On New Smallville Animated Series

Smallville fans received a fun little surprise from star Tom Welling during a recent CAMEO. The actor played the lead role of Clark Kent in the hit CW show that ran for ten successful seasons.

During the CAMEO, Tom teased that he had reunited with his Smallville costar Michael Rosenbaum, who wonderfully played Lex Luther, on an animated Smallville series. He went on to say that he hopes to get as many of the original actors from the show to participate in the series, but would not reveal any names.

Ever since Tom Welling and Erica Durance (Lois Lane) reprised their Smallville roles during the CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths event, fans have been craving for more from the cast. Rosenbaum has also been very open to continuing the series in some shape, but was just waiting for the greenlight.

As a huge Smallville fan and still a bit bitter about the amount of screen time they received during the crossover, I am 100% behind this!
