Zoey Deutch, Isabella Merced & More Testing for Lead Role in Batgirl

Warner Brothers will apparently begin testing for the role of Barbara Gordon in Batgirl. The HBO Max movie will focus on Barbara and her role as Gotham’s hero, Batgirl.

Zoey Deutch, Isabella Merced, and Leslie Grace are the three names being thrown around the casting room for the lead role. Haley Lu Richardson had been in contention, but apparently may no longer be.

I would love to see Deutch and Merced in the role. I am a big fan of both actresses and think they could bring a lot to the role.
