Chloe Bennet Exits Powerpuff Pilot

Chloe Bennet has exited the Powerpuff pilot. The actress was supposed to star as Blossom in the CW live-action reboot, which also starred Dove Cameron and Yana Perrault.

Deadline is reporting, “the actress did not sign a new deal to stay on the project due to scheduling issues. Cameron and Perrault will stay on as the remaining Powerpuff Girls but the search for a new Blossom will begin in the coming months.”

The pilot was shot earlier this year in Vancouver, but the CW opted to re-work the pilot instead of greenlighting it just yet. Casting for a new Blossom is underway.
