Stars Attend The 2021 Met Gala
The 2021 Met Gala was held last night, September 13, in New York City. The theme of the night’s extravaganza was In America: A Lexicon of Fashion and many of our favorite stars came out to show off their best looks.
One of the Co-Chairs of the night, Timothée Chalamet wore a custom design from Haider Ackermann, which he paired with some Converse hi-tops. Hailee Steinfeld took the biggest risk of the night with her Iris van Herpen dress, which she paired with a fun blonde do. Kristen Stewart stuck with her designer of choice, Chanel, for the event, but did change things up with her vintage ponytail.
Maisie Williams wore a custom black gown, designed by her boyfriend and fashion designer Reuben Selby, while Chloe and Halle both wore custom Rodarte. Amandla Stenberg looked great in her custom Thom Browne suit ensemble while Justin Bieber, who closed the Gala with a musical performance, wore a creation from his own fashion line, Drew House.
Leslie Grace wore a fun custom pink Prabal Gurung two piece look while Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello kept with the couples theme by both wearing Michael Kors. Normani took quite the risk in her yellow Valentino gown while Zoey Deutch showed off a darker hairdo whilst wearing a custom lilac Atelier Versace.
Kit Harrington opted for a Saint Laurent suit while he walked the carpet with his wife and fellow actress, Rose Leslie. Storm Reid went with a two piece look from Prada for the event while Lili Reinhart wore a custom Christian Siriano dress, which featured a flower from all 50 States.
For her first Met Gala, Rachel Zegler wore a dress from Dior’s Spring 2021 Haute Couture gown while Olivia Rodrigo wore a black Saint Laurent number. Yara Shahidi opted for a custom Dior number that was inspired by the amazing Josephine Baker while Keke Palmer wore a gorgeous Sergio Hudson gown.
