Production Begins On Timothée Chalamet’s Wonka

Production has begun on Timothée Chalamet’s new film, Wonka. Warner Bros. Pictures announced earlier today, September 29, that the prequel to the Roald Dahl novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory had begun production in the United Kingdom.

Timothée will be joined in this new creation by Rowan Atkinson, Mathew Baynton, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman, Sally Hawkins, and Keegan-Michael Key. The film is set to be directed by Paul King and will debut in theaters on March 17, 2023.
